Honey Garlic Salmon QUICK Weeknight Dinner
A handful of ingredients is all you need to make this simple and healthy dinner recipe. Takes less than 30 minutes to make this honey garlic salmon that is muy flavorful. Yes I just threw a random Spanish word in there. Pan-seared salmon should definitely be on your rotation because it's super easy & pairs perfectly with a side of veggies and/or rice.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets approximately 4-6 ounces each
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
2 tablespoons honey
1 clove of garlic finely minced (or garlic powder)
Chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a pan. Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
2. Place salmon flesh side down into the pan and cook for 4-5min. Flip to the other side and give them another 3-4min or until golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and garlic. Drizzle over salmon and serve!
NOTES:
Frozen salmon can be used. Thaw the salmon first. If using the skin on, place them skin side on first on the skillet.
When choosing salmon try to use wild-caught salmon. Farm-raised is also fine to use.
Fresh garlic tastes a bit better than just garlic powder.
You can totally reheat in the microwave the next day.
Don't cook on high heat. Best to cook on medium heat.
